Brand strategy

Brand Strategy Agency in Lebanon and the Gulf

Good Timbers is a brand strategy agency in Lebanon. We define what a brand stands for, whom it serves and why it should win, then turn that into positioning, architecture, naming and a plan the whole business can follow. Our founders spent years in enterprise sales before opening the agency, so strategy here is judged by what it does for revenue.

What brand strategy includes

Research with customers and staff, a read of the competition, positioning and promise, brand architecture for companies with several lines, naming, messaging in English and Arabic, and a roadmap that ties the brand to the sales plan. The output is a short document people actually use, not a deck that gets filed.

Strategy for businesses, not for awards

We ask what the business needs to sell next year and work back from there. For a sandwich chain that meant growing one branch in two months during a war. For a furniture house it meant choosing which rooms and which customers to own. The strategy is only right when the numbers that matter move.

From strategy to execution

Most agencies hand over a strategy and leave. We stay to execute it: identity, campaigns, content, social, web and media buying under the same roof, so the plan survives contact with Monday morning.

Lebanon, the Gulf and Iraq

We work with brands that sell at home and brands that are entering the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait or Iraq. Each market has its own customers, prices and language, and the strategy says what changes and what stays.

Questions we are asked

What is the difference between brand strategy and marketing strategy?

Brand strategy decides what the brand is and promises; marketing strategy decides how to reach and convert customers with that promise. One sets the direction, the other the route. We do both, in that order.

Do small businesses need brand strategy?

A short one, yes. A few decisions made early (who, what, why you) save money on every piece of marketing that follows. We size the work to the business.

How long does it take?

A few weeks for most businesses, including customer conversations and a workshop with the owners. Larger groups with several brands take longer.

Can you work with a brand entering Saudi Arabia or the UAE?

Yes. We adapt positioning, naming and messaging for the market, and we plan the launch with the content, social and media buying needed to land it.
