Good Timbers is a brand strategy and creative agency in Adma, Lebanon, working with brands in Lebanon, Iraq and the Gulf: furniture, jewellery, restaurants, food and snack brands, NGOs, a university. We are business people before we are creatives, and we judge content by one thing: what it did for the client. We are looking for a content creator who wants to be judged the same way.
The role
You are the person behind the camera and the phone. You plan the shoot, you shoot it, you cut it, you write the hook, you post it, and then you look at what it did and make the next one better. In one week you might be in a furniture showroom, a restaurant kitchen at the lunch rush, a jewellery counter, and a field with an NGO. You jump on a trend the morning it appears when it fits the brand, and you leave it alone when it does not. You talk to clients like a partner, not a vendor. And your content performs, on every platform it runs on, because that is how we measure it and how you will be measured.
This is a full-time role in a small team, on site in Adma and on location across Lebanon, with occasional work for clients in the Gulf. It is a career, not a gig: we hire rarely, we teach a lot, and we promote from inside.
What you will do
- Shoot. Photo and short video on location and in the studio: reels, TikToks, stories, product content, behind the scenes, talking heads, the occasional full production day next to our film team.
- Edit fast and well. CapCut, Premiere or whatever gets it done: pace, sound, captions, and a first second that earns the next fourteen.
- Write. Hooks and captions in English, in each brand’s own voice. Arabic is a strong plus.
- Plan. Monthly content calendars tied to what the client is actually selling that month, with a shot list before every day of shooting.
- Handle clients. Present ideas, take direction without losing the idea, keep your promises, answer messages, and stay calm when a shoot goes sideways.
- Follow trends daily and know which ones fit a bank, which fit a snack brand, and which fit nobody we work with.
- Read the numbers. Reach, saves, shares, messages, visits, orders. Learn from every post, report plainly, and change what you make next.
- Grow. Learn AI-assisted production with us, take on bigger briefs, and, if you earn it, lead the content team.
What we are looking for
- Two or more years making content for brands, or a portfolio and a feed that say the same thing. A recent graduate whose content already performs is welcome to apply.
- Confident with a phone and a camera, with the basics of light and sound, and the judgement to know when a phone is enough and when it is not.
- Real editing skill: rhythm, sound, captions, formats for every platform.
- Range. Serious with a bank in the morning, playful with a snack brand in the afternoon, respectful in a clinic, quick in a kitchen, and recognisably yourself in all of them.
- Good with people. You speak clearly, listen well, and clients enjoy having you around.
- Results, not only aesthetics. You can show content that sold something, filled something or grew something, and explain why it worked.
- Fluent English; Lebanese Arabic a strong plus; French welcome. Based in Lebanon, with a driving licence and the willingness to travel across the country for shoots.
- Hungry to build a career, with the discipline to go with the energy: deadlines kept, files named, footage backed up.
What you get
- A seat inside real businesses, not across from them: strategy, creative, production, media and the numbers, as one team.
- Clients in Lebanon and the Gulf, across industries, so the work never repeats itself.
- A small team that teaches, a stone house in Adma to work from, and AI production tools with the time to learn them.
- Your work seen, measured and credited. When it performs, everyone knows it was yours.
- Compensation that grows with your results, and a real path forward.
How we judge the work
Views alone are not the score. Content here is measured by what it moves for the client on every platform it runs on: saves, shares, messages, visits, orders, and the client’s own sales line. You will see those numbers, you will own them, and you will be given the tools, the budget and the honesty to improve them.
How to apply
Press Apply and tell us who you are, where your work lives, and why Good Timbers. We want links, not adjectives: three pieces you are proud of and what each one did. If you have a CV, attach it; if your feed says it better, send the feed. We read every application and we answer every one, within two weeks, either way.
